Earthblade
I worked on Earthblade’s operations management from the very start of the project in 2020 until November 2024, taking care of everything from admin and business tasks to social media and PR.
I also kept track of its development by saving tons of screenshots, team photos, videos, and art. It was a fun way to document the journey. On top of that, I got to help with in-game decoration using Pedro’s pixel art, with Noel patiently teaching me how to use his game engine for that. It was such a cool experience!
One of the most exciting moments was managing Earthblade’s vibe teaser at The Game Awards and sharing it on EXOK’s social media and Discord server. It was amazing to see the buzz we created! I also grew its Twitter/X account from zero to over 22,000 followers, always trying to build a positive and supportive community around the project.
Earthblade was a 2D exploration-action game set in a seamless pixel art world, but sadly, the project was eventually cancelled. Even so, I’m really proud of everything I got to be part of and the excitement we shared along the way.
